Da Vinci Talk is an annual free art exhibition that has been hosted in Auckland since 2020. The event takes place at the Aotea Centre (50 Mayoral Drive, Auckland City), which is now hosting its fourth exhibition on Level 4 from September 21 to October 5.
No prior booking is necessary; you are welcome to simply drop in and explore the exhibition. If you plan to drive to the event, convenient parking is available at the Civic parking lot located directly underneath the Aotea Centre.
Similar to previous years, this exhibition proudly presents the works of 40 talented young Chinese artists, featuring a diverse array of art forms such as traditional Chinese painting, ink art, watercolour, printmaking, charcoal sketches, and coloured pencil creations. The artworks encompass a broad spectrum of subjects, including landscapes, still life, portraits, animals, and plants. The styles range from realism to abstractionism, promising a captivating and enriching experience for all attendees.
We invite you to join us and immerse yourself in the world of artistry and creativity at Da Vinci Talk. Your presence will provide the opportunity to witness an impressive collection of stunning artworks that reflect the unique perspectives of these emerging artists.
Green stickers will be conveniently located at the reception area for your use. You are encouraged to select your top five favourite artworks and affix a green sticker to the corresponding blank space on each artwork's description card. After the exhibition concludes, the three paintings that have garnered the highest number of stickers will be publicly announced. This interactive activity promises an enjoyable and engaging experience for all attendees, doesn't it?
